Feeding Families, Changing Lives
The poverty rate in our area is twice the national average, more specifically there are over 40,000 people affected by “food Insecurity” in our community; 41% of those people are children who must rely on adults to provide for them.
Nearly one in every six seniors faces the threat of hunger and not being properly nourished.
When you have very low food security, your health and ability to correct it with healthy food is in a dire situation for any age group.
We exist to meet poverty and hunger head on and change it.
Our greatest desire is to become effective in elevating people through education and empowerment to help them overcome the “poverty mindset” and change the future of their families for generations to come.
